Jake Connor was the standout performer in an otherwise scrappy first half, opening the scoring before setting up Mikolaj Oledzki. His interception also paved the way for Tom Holroyd's try shortly before the interval.

The league leaders found another gear after the restart as tries from James McDonnell, Harry Newman and Connor's second of the afternoon stretched their advantage to 34 points.

Brodie Croft and Riley Lumb added further scores in the closing stages, while Connor rounded off a superb individual display by landing seven conversions from eight attempts to finish with 22 points.

A 10th home win in as many matches this season keeps Leeds ahead of second-placed Wigan, who also claimed victory at Leigh.

After the match, Zak Lloyd spoke about his pride at making his Rhinos debut at Headingley as he came off the bench in the final quarter of Leeds' 46-0 win over Toulouse Olympique. The teenager has recently finished studies at Kirklees College in Huddersfield and is now looking forward to advancing his career in Super League.
