Inspector To Bring Rural Know-how To New Role Policing Kirklees Countryside Communities

A police officer whose childhood was spent working on her family farm has gone back to her roots by becoming the new inspector for rural Kirklees.

Inspector Beth Sanderson said she felt privileged to take on the inspector post at the Kirklees Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team, after a childhood spent as an active part of countryside communities.  

She succeeds Inspector Vanessa Briggs who recently stepped down from the role after 30 years in policing.
