Leeds United began their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 defeat by Wrexham at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

Kieffer Moore gave Wrexham an early lead inside the opening minute before Joel Piroe levelled with a clever backheel. Leeds then fell behind again when Bailey Cadamarteri finished after breaking through the defence, but Sean Longstaff restored parity before half-time with a superb strike into the top corner.
The second half was a quieter affair, with Leeds looking more comfortable as the game progressed. However, Wrexham struck again late on when substitute Sam Smith found the bottom corner to put the Welsh side back in front.
Leeds pushed for a third equaliser but could not find a way through, with new signing Harry Wilson coming closest when his effort from inside the box sailed over the bar. Daniel Farke's side will continue their US tour against Sunderland in New Jersey on Friday, 31 July.
